Amoco 1064 option P class 3B IR Laser with Power Supply You are bidding on an Amoco 1064 option P class 3B Laser in excellent condition. This is a 1064nm diode laser rated for about 50 mw output in the invisible IR band according to the label. Included is an Amoco power supply and matching cable, and bracket suitable for optical table mounting. I did test this laser system in one of our laser laboratories where I measured its output it in a safe environment using a wide band 500 watt laser power meter. The output level was about 27 milliwatts ( I did not do a careful alignment so real power may be greater under proper conditions) so I am confident that this is in good working condition. Although the power supply can be adjusted to set the power level I did not make any changes as I am not familiar with the safe operating range of this specific laser. Please understand that lasers are hazardous if used improperly. The operating wavelength of this laser is invisible to the human eye and this one is labelled as class 3B which signifies it has the capacity to cause eye damage if not operated in proper conditions with appropriate safety equipment in place. Please do not purchase this unless you have the training to use it in a safe manner. I have provided pictures for you to make your own judgment on the condition of this item. I will describe everything the best as I an able based on visual inspection and my knowledge of the item. I did not "clean up" or replace parts on vintage items so as not to alter or damage the integrity of the item unless otherwise noted.
