Amprobe SOLAR-100 Solar Power Meter The Amprobe Solar-100 meter measures solar power to optimize the placement of solar panels or solar water heaters, tests the light transmission of windows and headlights, and checks the thermal efficiency of windows in home and commercial applications. The meter provides measurements in British thermal units per hour per square foot (BTU/[ft2/h]) or in watts per square meter (W/m2). The maximum or minimum reading mode displays the highest or lowest reading in a session to track a sudden increase or decrease in readings. The hold function keeps a reading on the display. The meter's liquid crystal display (LCD) provides readings at a glance. A low-battery indicator shows when the battery needs to be replaced.
