Geiger Counter Highly accurate DMAD digital adapters are also available that allow exact measurements from this Geiger Counter, see link below. Geiger Counter Analog Geiger Counters are useful for detecting radioactivity and performing nuclear experiments. This Geiger Counters primary indicators are an audio click and an LED blink each time a radioactive particle is detected. This model has a digital output that is compatible with the Digital Meter adapter, RS-232 Adapter and Random Number Generator Adapter. The Model GCK-05C has a internal Geiger-Mueller tube. The GM Tube is a Ne + Halogen filled, with a .41” effective diameter by 3" length. Detects:  Beta, Gamma and X-Rays. Beta radiation above 30 KeV X-Rays above 30 KeV Gamma radiation above 7 Ke The GCK-05C Geiger Counters have the following features: Headphone / Analog Meter Jack Digital Output -- Provides a TTL logic pulse each time a radioactive particle is detected. Used to connected to various digital adapters: Digital Meter Adapter -- Turns our analog into a accurate digital geiger counter,  other features includes PC Adapter w/ free Windows Monitoring software, and TRUE Random Number Generator. External Power Jack Ready to be installed into a case.
