Antique Metal Letterpress Printer's Block Sabine Providence, Rhode Island Up for auction is an antique metal letterpress printer's block. Depicted inside of the engraved printer's block is what appears to be: "Sabine" in flourished print, above: "Providence". All of this is inside of a double egg shape, with a bow and ribbon at the top. There is also what appears to be a manufacturer's mark: "N. C. Walter & Sons" & "194 William St., N.Y.". The entire piece measures approximately 2.5 by 1.75 inches in size, and I believe it to be lead based, given its weight. The antique printer's block is in great vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, stains or any other damage that I can detect. Terms: All sales final. Paypal only. I will ship USPS mail.
