Antique "whisky" Bar Mirror Home Or Business Unique Large Framed One Of A Kind!

For Your Bidding Consideration: An Antique Reversed Etched "WHISKY" Large Sized Bar Mirror! Definitely has character! Must have at one point spent most of it's life in a bar or pub in my opinion. Housed in what appears to me, as a solid Mahogany Wood Frame. The time period in my opinion is either Victorian from the 1890's or early 1900's, again in my opinion. The photographs do "not" do justice to this mirror, much more appreciative in person I can assure you. I firmly believe this mirror is the real deal because the art of hand reverse etching for a reproduction would be very expensive to pull off and only a few artisan's in the world are capable of pulling off an "old" school technique such as hand reverse etching. The wood frame measures 42 3/4" x 30 1/2". Impressive size! Weight anywhere between 40 - 55 pounds. Ready to hang! Has a heavy duty braided hanging wire backside. According to my research the word "WHISKEY" is prevalent in America & Ireland, where as the word "WHISKY" is prevalent in Japan, Scotland, Canada and the rest of the world. Very Cool one of a kind offering here! This mirror in my opinion would look awesome in any bar establishment that happens to have the real estate to showcase this wonderful antique. Has a very cool reversed etched design. Nice clean antique without any cracks. This puppy was taken care of throughout the decades. Fresh out of a collectors estate of bar related antiques. If you happen to have a large sized home with a fancy bar, then this one is for you. Due to the fact that this antique is fragile, there will be no shipping on this item. Strictly a "Pick" Up Only.
