This flooring is available for purchase by the square foot and has a minimum order requirement of 500 square feet. White pine, despite being a soft wood, is much harder than people expect and is often referred to as pumpkin pine due to its unique coloration. The wood has a deep honey brown color with pumpkin highlights due to its age and patina. Antique flooring can come from two sources: original flooring or from antique beams or joists. Footworn flooring is original flooring that has been worn by foot traffic over the course of more than a century. These boards come from 1800's homes and can date back to as early as the late 1700's. Reclaimed flooring is unique in both its age and beauty and no two reclaimed floors are alike. They can have knots, nail holes and changes in color and patina throughout a board.
