The Bair Paws Model 850 and warming gown can provide comfort warming and prewarming to patient in preoperative settings. In postoperative settings the Model 850 can provide comfort warming. The Bair Paws Model 850 warming unit has the following key elements: a blower, a heating element, and a handheld temperature controller. The warming unit delivers warmed air through a hose that is connected to a port in a Bair Paws gown. The patient can adjust the air temperature using the temperature controller. CONDITION This device is marked as a factory refurbished unit according to the tag on the back. It is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition with minimal sign of wear and no damage. There is a biomed tag good through 1/2015. I removed and inspected the filter and there is no sign or use or debris in the filter medium. I used a thermometer to test the warm air coming out of the end of the hose and it is within factory specifications. I left this patient warmer run for several hours and it never overheated.
