Take a good look at the auction pictures. The pump in the pictures is the actual item you are buying. It starts fast and runs super quiet. I let it run for a long time and it works great. I have posted one picture of the gauge with the unit running. I placed my finger over the inlet and this pump sucks 19 inches of vacuum which is much stronger than the average vacuum pump.
