This book is a Howard A Sams publication, and it was produced in 1978 as a first edition 10th printing. The introduction reads, that this volume, the fifth and last in the series is concerned with the principles of AC and DC motors and generators. The text is designed to provide the reader with a sound understanding of the fundamentals of motors and generators. The characteristics of each type of machine are presented so that the student can relate each type of actual application. In this way, reader interest is maintained, and information presented is a practical value. As stated above, the book is in very good condition with surface cover wear.
