The dosimeter shows the total or accumulated amount of gamma radiatio to which it has been exposed starting from the time of recharging (or zeroing ) the Pen. The gamma exposure is shown by the position of a hairline along a scale of numbers marked "ROENTGENS" The scale has numbers that begin with zero at the left s9ide and usually end with 200 at the right side. You will need a Dosimeter charger (see eBay item # 200858772687) to zero the pen and charge it.
