Benedict.]. Abstract: Semi-flexible gastroscope set. Set consists of gastroscope and accessories in case. Nickel silver scope has focusing eypiece with glass lens, air feeding port with Luer-lock fitting and cap, electrical connection, and forceps deflection control knobs at proximal end; tubular metal shaft is scored from midpoint to distal end and covered by a protective rubber sheath; distal end has instrument channel exit, forceps deflection lever, lens housing, and threaded light bulb terminating in tapered flexible rubber tip. Set also includes long flexible spiral shaft biopsy specimen forceps with small sharp spherical jaws at distal end and right-angle ring handles at proximal end. Additional accessories includes: polyethylene stomach and aspirating tubes with Luer-lock fittings, cylindrical painted metal and plastic transformer, cylindrical metal and plastic handle with cord, power cord, inflation bulb, rubber tips, two extra lamps and lamp wax. All items are housed in walnut wood case with hinged lid, metal latches, brass handle and compartments to hold instruments.
