This will fit on any 1 inch 13 pin PMT mount, and is otherwise a complete unit containing the PMT and hermetically sealed crystal. 4 PI geometry is offered because of the well. The sample is placed in a pit and nearly all of the radiation coming off of it is picked up by the super sensitive detector! PERFECT for home spectrometer applications. Several little bottles used for sampling will be sent with this probe so you can decide what you prefer. I should mention: this can also be used as a really sensitive, wide energy spanning handheld probe!!! It's well worth it!
