Bitzer Reciprocating Semi-Hermetic Refrigeration Compressor Assembly Unit THIS UNIT APPEARS TO BE NEW, UNUSED, & UNINSTALLED Shipping Calculator is NOT Accurate: Contact me for Quote This is a Commercial duty type sealed refrigeration compressor manufactured by Bitzer U.S.A. Model Number # 4C0770SH-4SU. It is designed for specialty equipment and applications. I don’t know much about it. It appears to be new and unused from the factory. It is still mounted on the original factory wooden pallet. The electrical box and connectors appear new never installed as well. Factory manufacturer’s paperwork is still sealed inside the electrical box. There is obvious light dirt and dust collected, some light scratches and paint chipping on the exterior from some long term storage. The factory oil and level can be seen through the sight glass and appears clear. I don’t know the manufacturing date or the age of this unit but it may be incorporated in the serial and/or model number for those who are familiar with these compressors. It was removed (with several others) from the warehouse of a supplier who went out of business. That is all I know of its history. It is considered one of the high end users type equipment and for very high tech applications. They typically sell for $3500+ and as much as $5000 from what I have researched on it. The specifications that were posted on the label and the compressor itself are listed below. It weighs about $150+ lbs. on the pallet. Below is some factory information that I found on-line. Buyer is to understand that I have no way to test this unit and know nothing about refrigeration systems. So it is being offered “AS-IS”. From what I have seen on-line the parts for these units are extremely expensive and hard to find except through Bitzer or factory dealer. It may be brand new and ready for installation in a proper application or possibly for replacement parts and/or repair purposes. Again, it is offered “AS-IS” and without warranty.
