For sale is one new "Besly/Bendix" 3/8x24 bottom thread forming taps. This is a bottom tap design (2-3 pitches cutting chamfer) with 1.25" thread lenght. Overall length is 3".
Bottoming Taps are used to ensure the minimum thread run-out when taping to the bottom of blind holes. The tap has a lead of two threads and would normally be preceded by a Taper or an Intermediate Tap. Manufacturer: Recoil No 45166.
