Originally Ordered in Late 2012- The US-450Ls holds 1.4ml Matrix tubes with SeptaSeals. Tubes are loaded into the system using Matrix tube racks which can each hold up to 96 tubes. The racks have a 1D barcode on the A01 side. The tube racks are placed on BLSS 6 position SD trays into the I/O Station by the operator. Loaded trays/racks are automatically scanned and transferred from the I/O Station to storage. Tube retrieval is achieved by first creating and running a Pick order, which consolidates selected tubes onto Matrix tube racks, and then creating and running an Output order, which will transfer the trays of selected and consolidated tubes from storage to the I/O Station. The US-450Ls are located in a laboratory which is maintained at room temperature. The storage area will be at -20C. Two input/output modules and two 1.4ml Matrix tube selectors as well as one bridge are attached to the US-450Ls (one I/O and selector each plus bridge in the middle). The US-450Ls are controlled by TrayManager and CherryManager on the firmware side as well as StorageManager and SystemManager.
