"Villiers Mark 12/1 Four-Stroke Engine - Operating Instructions and Spare Parts List.". This is an original Australian user's manual for a Villiers 4 stroke stationary engine. Publisher: Villiers Australia Pty Limited, Wendouree, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Printed in Australia, in English language. Date: Not dated, I am estimating this is from the about the first half of the 1960's. 28 pages (plus covers), this measures about 141 mm x 216 mm (about 5.5" x 8.5"). With line drawn illustrations, this covers: Engine Data, Running the 12/1 engine, Routine Attention, Maintenance and Repairs (covering various components), then has a spare parts list section with line drawn exploded view illustrations of parts and listing part number, description, quantity required, followed by Tracing troubles, and Guarantee. Ink writing: Archive number written at the bottom of the front cover. Condition: Back cover shows soiling and browning and general wear with a tear and related crease to the top edge, front cover shows some wear and light marks but is quite presentable, corners are bumped quite hard with corner creases and the last inside page has a crease across the upper right, inside otherwise shows useage with browning to the paper but is mainly clean and quite presentable, reasonable condition overall.
