This item is not a catalog of all of the type faces available from American Type Foundry. Instead, it describes in detail the various members of the Cheltenham Family (e.g., bold, italics etc.). The bulk of the book is devoted to illustrations of the type in use including passages of text and advertisements and announcements set in the type.The picture above and below shows two such pages. (Note that the picture below can be enlarged.) CONDITION: Covers sun faded around edges. Spine chipped with covers split for 3" at bottom and 1.5" at top. Front cover clean and unmarked. (See picture above). Rear cover shows slight smudging around edges. Corners slightly bumped Interior pages clean with sharp printing. Overall Good Condition.
