The Tek 2465ADV is a 2465A with all available options (dmm, freq counter, tv sync, & gpib). This specimen serial B011669 dates back to 1986. 2465A is a well designed 4channel 350MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1986 to mid-1988, that apparently, would serve well for decades. Costs now only a tiny fraction of its  $10000 new price (and way less than my 2465BDV listing), yet works as well as new, and if/when it should require repair, it is from the repairable era, so it can be fixed (unlike newer scopes).    Will be shipped freshly calibrated, with instructions, power cord, and 90 days GUARANTY(my parts & labor, your shipping)... READY TO USE !     1st photo shows the leading edge of a 1MHz 1Vpp square wave whose risetime (and that of the scope) shows up as about 1.05nS, consistent with the capability of a 350MHz scope. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows it has 13159 hours and 735 on/off power cycles. 3rd photo shows a 200MHz signal (upper limit of frequency counter option) painting entire screen with light to show glow uniformity (and lack of burn marks) of phosphor. 4th photo shows 2465A frequency counter reading on 10MHz from time mark generator. 5th photo shows a 1KHz Time Mark gen signal displayed in dual time base mode with faster sweep 10 X faster than slower sweep. Separation of 2 highlighted marks is 8mS. 6th photo shows same measurement in single time base mode with curser separation.Note it tells you it goes positive from ground and that it spends more time on than off since the average is slighly more than 1V. 7th photo shows vertical curser separation measuring a known 2Vpp 1KHz square wave signal. 8th photo shows the benefit of having tv sync option: lets you start on a TV line of  a TV frame you select (in this case on line #19 which contains VIR signal of  an NTSC color bar pattern, see available extras to follow). 9th photo shows DMM option measuring the voltage of a 40 year old Eppley Weston standard cell which started life at 1.019V. 10th photo shows DMM option reading the value of a 50ohm feedthru termination.     I choose to work on 2400s because they were the last repairable scopes Tek made (newer TDSs are unrepairable, not something to brag about). 2400s are my specialty, so mine shall arrive working correctly, whether you're buying just 1 or several to outfit an entire lab or classroom. Please keep in mind if buying another's 2465A, that chances are, regardless of price, almost certain theirs may have problems (eg: a dying Li battery at the very least). I sell them because I fix them, others sell them because they need fixing. (It simply isn't reasonable to expect a scope will have lasted 20+ years without accumulating some issues that a seller may or may not be aware of, which is why they may be willing to let it go for less than I'm). Mine justifiably cost more than most others' since mine can be expected to work correctly upon arrival, and for a long time to come.    Please do NOT offer LESS than B-I-N price on ebay (except in case of reducing import tax outlined in next paragraph). A domestic offer for around $650 will result in you getting a 2465A (without options). Domestic offers for less than $600 shall lose the fresh cal & 90 day guaranty.  Even when you offer $800 B-I-N price you are already offering me 14% less (Paypal will keep 3-4% of the money sent thru them as "transfer fees", something a cheque does for free, meaning if you'd write a ck for $702 it would get paid as $702, which I'd be fine with. Ebay will keep 10-11% as sales commission on item). Paypal's fees buys you speed and consumer protection. Ebay's fees buys you the right to grade me with Feedback. Be generous if you can. If you can't, you could buy my cheapest item (a $5 handle label) first, and ebay shall give you all the info you need to save $80 when you buy this scope.  . I ship worldwide. Ebay requires I ship with a carrier that provides tracking & delivery confirmation, which the public postal system cannot provide outside USA. To many countries ebay has its Global Shipping Program which has decent tracking and reasonable flying costs, though seems a bit slow because it first takes scope from California to Kentucky USA by ground. Global shipping program asks you to prepay your country's import tax, based on your country's rate, and official purchase price on ebay. To those in high taxing countries, one way to reduce the tax would be for you to "make offer" for a less. If when you make such an offer, you state in offer's terms this is the reason why and that you will shortly pay me the difference (and that you understand I don't have to send you a full 2465A until I am fully paid), I will accept your offer so you can save on tax. Obviously if you live in a 0 import tax place like Hong Kong, this does not apply to you, but many countries tax at 30%, some even 50%, and it's those clients I'm trying to help save.  You get a 14 day right of return for refund or exchange, provided you don't breach tamper seals, return everything in same shape as received, pack it as well as I, and pay for all shipping. HURRY INCENTIVE: If you BIN by 25 Dec 14, I will add a Tek 10:1 probe (w/ RO encoding), FREE (which cost hundreds from Tek).  Californians pay California sales tax.
