Milled in Portland, Oregon from kiln-dried Western Red Cedar, our Langstroth beehive kit includes two deep boxes to get you started. Cedar boxes last longer, weigh less, and provide better insulation than common white pine Langstroth hives. Finger joints and screws make these boxes incredibly strong. Interchangeable with standard Langstroth hive parts. Pre-drilled for easy assembly, screws provided. Frames much be purchased separately. Includes 2 Red Cedar Deep Boxes with finger joints (Hive bodies) Outer cover Inner Cover Screened bottom board Screws for assembly of deep boxes
