This is a pair of Error Detector and Pattern Generator Heads used with the Keysight N4965A BERT System. You are buying the following: Agilent N4955A 12.5 Gb/s Pattern Generator Remote Head, qty 2 (actually Centellax labelled TG5P1A) Agilent N4956A 12.5 Gb/s Error Detector Remote Head, qty 2 (actually labelled Centellax TR2P1A) The N4956A is an affordable and compact error detector remote head that is compatible with the N4965A Serial BERT controller. The N4956A is an ideal solution to test up to 12.5 Gb/s per channel for characterizing multi-lane serial data channels. The N4956A error detector supports PRBS patterns and operates up to 12.5 Gb/s with differential or single-ended connections. The remote head allows the test equipment to be located very close to the device under test, eliminating the need for long cables that degrade signal quality. The N4955A is an affordable and compact pattern generator remote head available in two-tap and four-tap de-emphasis configurations. Compatible with the N4965A Serial BERT controller, it is an ideal solution to test up to 12.5 Gb/s per channel for characterizing multi-lane serial data channels. The N4955A pattern generator supports PRBS, clock, and DC logic patterns and operates up to 12.5 Gb/s with differential of single-ended connections. The remote head allows the test equipment to be located very close to the device under test, eliminating the need for long cables that degrade signal quality. This unit has been fully checked in our lab and is guaranteed completely operational. NOTE: Per Keysight, these are identical to the Keysight model numbers N4955A and N4956A, and are fully compatible with the Keysight N4965A, even though they are labeled as Centellax.
