 For action is an old Chas G Allen drill press. Manufactured in Barre Massachusetts. This is a very old machine, patented and manufactured in the early 1900's. I don't know much about it's history, other then it was taken from an old factory in Reading PA. Motor running condition is unknown because it is a 3 phase motor and I don't have the ability to test it. I was told that it ran fine when removed but I can not verify. Great heavy duty drill press with a long throw quill. I was going to use this in my shop but decided to go a different rout. With a little TLC, this will be a great hard running machine.  Payment via paypal within 2 days of auction ending. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY!!! Pottstown PA.
