This includes 6 Delaware Chicken and 6 Barred Plymouth Rock Hatching Eggs These are Hatching Eggs for use in an incubator or under a hen.  These eggs will produce Delaware chicks. This is a heritage breed with a status of "Threatened".  Delaware chickens originated in Delaware of the United States.   Delaware chickens are hardy birds that mature quickly.  Delawares are good meat birds.  Hens lay large to jumbo brown eggs and will go broody.  The Delaware does well in free range operations.  They have a calm temperment and with socialization they can be friendly birds. Barred Plymouth Rock Chickens are a heritage breed with a conservation status of "Recovering". The Barred Plymouth Rock chickens originated in the United States in the early to mid 1800s. This is a dual purpose bird. They are excellent layers and meat birds. The Barred Plymouth Rock was one of the foundation breeds for the commercial broiler industry in the 1920s. Barred Rocks are cold hardy with docile temperaments. These traits make them great backyard birds. They will go broody and will raise their own chicks.  Our chickens are always raised "naturally".  We do not add any hormones, chemicals or pesticides.  Our chickens are fed from crops that were grown on our farm.  Our farm crops are also grown "naturally".  No chemicals, no pesticides, no manufactured fertilizers.  Eggs can be picked up at the farm or they can be shipped to you.  We ship USPS Priority 1-4 Day Mail.  If any eggs are broken or do not hatch we will replace them for the cost of shipping.  Sorry we can only ship to the United States at this time.   We can combine shipping of up to 2 dozen per box for a shipping fee of $18.00.
