you are buying 6 fertile hatching eggs - MALLARD - pure breed. We checked fertility and is very good , however we cannot guarantee fertility and hatchability because there are a lot of factors   that can influence it as shipping, your incubator settings, your incubating duck eggs experience, etc. By  purchasing  this eggs, buyer understands that there is no guarantees on fertility or hatchability on shipped eggs. Pure breed Mallard are 1.9-2 lbs weight and lay a small-medium in size egg that  can be light green or white-cream colored in a 50% ratio. Mallard ducklings are very resistant  ducklings and they are less demanding then the baby chickens, however we strongly reccommend that you read duck specialty literature before starting to incubate duck eggs . Mallards live and lay eggs up to  15 years of age, they are very low maintenace birds, can live up to 25 years of age. This are light ducks, they can fly but you can choose to cut their wings if you don't want them to fly, when they are 5 months old, contact me and I will go over with you how to cut their wings. We have a flock of 25 Mallards and they  fly around our property , is a delight to watch them. However we have them from 2 years and NONE of them flu away, although our property fence is only 5 feet tall. Please be reasonable on leaving the feedback, there is a lot of work in obtaining this eggs and we do our best to harvest fertile fresh eggs, pack them securely, ship them  expeditely.  We only ship monday, tuesday and wednesday  in order for the eggs to reach you before the weekend. If payment for this eggs is received later then wednesday 11 am EST, 5 fresh eggs will be shipped the following monday.  Once you receive the eggs, let them sit pointy end down for 24 hours, then place them in the incubator. Our best results for hatchability is 55%  incubator humidity for the first 18 days and 65 % incubator humidity for the last 8-10 days of incubation. We reccommend eggs to be turned every 6 hours if you have a automatic turner in the incubator, otherwise do it mannualy every 12 hours. On day 24 stop turning the eggs, let them sit on a side as the duckling is ready to hatch . This is the technique we reccommend and with this technique we hatched hundreds of Mallard babies from this parents. There are other techniques you will find in the literature and you're welcome to choose the best you consider it fit. Please note, we do not ship to Hawaii, Canada , Asia o!!                                     Happy hatching !!
