Circa 1900 Steam Engine Compressor.  The metal tag is marked "Gustav Miehe" Hildesheim.  Serial number stamped in the wood is 346.  Looks like a steam engine but could have had another use such as a compressor for medical/dental.  The parts are moving.  Nice nickel plating and black japanned parts.  Mounted on a board and looks like other piece were attached to the board but are no longer there.  The base measures 13 3/4" x 7 1/2".  The flywheel measures 4 5/8" in diameter. Would be a good restoration project for someone.  Check out the photos. Please Read***This item is being sold "as is", just as we found it.
