Here is a vintage Briggs & Stratton motor. Tag says it is a model Y. Has a kick pedal start. There is no spark plug. It has been fixed up and painted at some point. Hasn't ran for a few years, would probably need some tinkering. Inside of fuel tank is pretty clean as you can see in the one picture. Shouldn't take much at all to make it a runner. No damage cracks or repairs to any of the components that I noted. Has been stamped into the wood base May 1936 which I would suppose to be the date of manufacture. Its heavy so local pickup would be great. Otherwise will disassemble a little for shipping such as removing kick pedal so so it isn't damaged so be prepared for some reassembly. Checkout our other auctions for more neat stuff. Will be listing lots of similar Briggs and Maytag engines and parts in the coming weeks. We love to combine shipping. Local pickup at our place in Red Oak, Iowa is welcome but must be paid for within 7 days of auctions end and must be picked up within 30 days of auctions end, NO exceptions. Questions are welcomed and I can add more pictures to the listing if needed.  U.S. shipping only. If you do not have a U.S. shipping address this auction is not for you.  As stated we welcome any questions but please, please don't wait till the last minute. Any questions within the last 12 hours of the auction run a high risk of not getting answered. We do not sit beside the computer 24/7.  If you are picking this item up in person it MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END. I cannot possibly stress this enough. I DO NOT RUN A STORAGE FACILITY. If you do not pick your item up within 30 days it will be disposed of at my discretion. If it says no shipping in the listing that means NO shipping. You are welcome to arrange, quote and pay for your own shipping but do not bother asking me to ship.
