96 Pieces 3.2 inch Round Base RB80 100 LB Holding Force Ceramic Magnet Cup Assemblies This listing includes 96 pieces of RB80 round base magnets which are made of ceramic ring magnets and steel cups. Each ceramic magnet is recessed inside of a steel cup to form a magnetic circuit so that both the north and south poles are present on the open side of the cup. When the cup is applied to a magnetic surface, the magnetic circuit closes through the surface and creates a super strong grip onto the object. At the same time, the steel cup provides the protection to the magnet from being hit and damaged. The round base magnets are also know as cup magnets or magnetic cup assemblies. The steel cup and the magnet form a circuit to cause both the N and S poles appear on the open side of the cup. When the cup is placed onto a magnetic surface, the magnetic circuit closes through the surface with very little leaks so the holding power is greatly increased to 3-4 times. There is a center hole in the cup for easy use.  Applications of this magnet include magnetic holdings, like antenna base and car signs, liftings, retrievings and more.
