We have Nd2Fe14B neodymium hard drive magnets that are cheaper, lighter, and stronger than samarium-cobalt magnets. These are available for less than .99 cents each. These magnets have been removed from end-of-life laptop hard drives and come with a Permalloy backing plate that is corrosion-resistant.
