Acme's TA and TB series are dry-type step-down transformers with an open core and coil design. These units are designed specifically for industrial control applications where the energizing of electromagnetic components creates high in-rush current that must be accommodated without sacrificing the voltage stability in the secondary circuit. The TA series is available up to 5000 VA.
