Here is your chance to have a Dage 2400PC Bond Tester without the huge investment these tools garner. On eBay these tools are selling for nearly $7,000!  This tool is complete. I bought it for $1500 (which is a good deal even with the failure I observed).  After attaching a monitor and booting the system, it complained that the stage motor was jammed. I removed the covered and checked the motor - it is not jammed and when I apply power to it, it moves. The fault is likely in the motor driver circuit or the encoder circuit. Since it never moved during initialization I am leaning toward the motor driver circuit. I bought nearly every IC unsed in the motor circuit but did not get a chance to finish the repair. Why? Becuase I recently found a Dage 4000 for a good price and it needs my attention. I will include all the ICs I bought as part of this lot. This tool has lots of parts that work. 1. The PC works and boots.  2. The keyboard and numeric keypad are there. Keyboard works. 3. The covers are all there and in great shape. The inside of the machine is clean too. Looks like someone replaced the PC power supply since the holes in one of the mounting brackets did not match up. Easy fix for new owner. 4. It has the microscope but I noticed that one lens is 15x and the other is 20x. These are cheap and easy to find.  4. It includes the BS500 load cell but I was not able to test it since the tool failed on initialization. These load cartridges go for about $500 alone! I am selling this at a loss becuase I got a good deal on the Dage 4000 so my good fortune will be passed onto the smart buyer of this tool who is inquisitive enough to complete the repair. I do not have the manuals for this - what you see is what you get. I am not an equipment broker, I own a testing lab in Irvine, CA. This item can be picked up by anyone local, otherwise I can strap it to a skid and stretch wrap it. If your shipper requires wood around it, the buyer will need to cover my material costs.
