This is a very rare transmitted light microscope from Leitz (later Leica Microsystems). It is rare in that a nearly complete Nomarski kit is the optical heart of the system. The s/n 127095 is near the end of the finite microscope run just prior to Leitz going to infinity correction for their transmitted light microscopes and introduction of the "DM" series.
