The cast-iron design improves accuracy by minimizing operating vibrations. It includes base holes for workbench or tabletop mounting. The 5-inch diameter dry wheel has a tool rest that adjusts to variable wheel wear and an eye shield to deflect sparks. The 8-inch diameter, 1,0000-grit aluminum oxide wet wheel can be used for hardened cutting tools and fine grinding jobs. It features both front and rear splash guards to minimize water spray. The water tank regulates water flow with an easy-to-use adjustment knob. The sharpening center comes with a tool rest, wrench, and wet/dry sliding tool holder for lathe turning tools, carving chisels, and plane irons.
