Refurbished / restored Eberline E-120E with SK-1 speaker, HP-260 ALPHA,BETA GAMMA X-RAY PROBE Refurbished= Everything is removed from the face plate / escutcheon all surfaces are cleaned with fine rubbing compound including the lower can to remove paint oxide, stains, markings, sticker residue, and sometimes factory blemishes. All electronic components are inspected and tested for proper value the switch, battery and other contacts are cleaned or treated, the meter assembly is cleaned and treated with anti static solution, all small mechanical parts are cleaned and anything that is not in good condition is replaced as the instrument is re assembled, once reassembled it is connected to a pulse count calibrator and calibrated, then the probe is connected and the mR/Hr scales are checked with Cs-137, it is then left on over night and rechecked the following day. This instrument is a lot smaller than most others and weighs 4 pounds including batteries and probe. Meter scale C.P.M. with 3 decades of X0.1, X1, and X10 total range 0-50,000 C.P.M. Continuously variable response control, reset button, battery test, and SK-1 speaker Probe sensitive to ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA, & X-RAY radiation HP-260 pancake probe which is 3,300 C.P.M. per Mr/Hr Cs 137 normal background around 100 C.P.M. depending on many factors. Batteries main instrument 2 D size SK-1 speaker with adaptor to hold A 23 alkaline 12 Volt battery which is available just about everywhere average price $1.50 as opposed to the original 15 Volt battery which are hard to find and cost $10.00 ++ each no loss of volume and last about the same time as the original. A new coil cord is included a $25.00 value will fit both BNC & MHV probe connectors, and batteries including speaker battery. ( TEST SOURCE and SIGN ARE NOT INCLUDED )
