EFI ES-1000 spectrometer/spectrophotometer/densitometer hardware revision 'D'. Made in Switzerland. This unit is basically new, in an excellent condition, just a few scratches which are purely cosmetic, lamp burning time is 153.8 seconds (2.5 minutes): used for a customer demo and testing with CWS and i1 software, see the end of the description for a log file from i1 test software and the pictures of the screen shots. The serial number is 701169 This spectrometer is licensed for use with Color Profiler Suite 2.x (see the screen shot from EFI activation website), retail price on the ES-1000+CPS 2.x is $3,200 You can download the Color Profiler Suite 2.2 from this link: https://d1m2uyedaojrqy.cloudfront.net/FSO/efi/efi_colorp_suite_w/all/all_lang/2.2.0.11/EFIColorProfilerSuite_2.2.0.11.exe After you install the software it can run in 'demo' mode: once a licensed spectrometer (such as this one) is connected to the USB port, the CPS becomes fully functional. ES-1000 is an essential piece of equipment for any print shop and almost mandatory if you are using any Fiery or Colorpass print controllers regardless of the brand of the machines that they are attached to: Konica Minolta, OCE, Canon, Ricoh, HP, Xerox, Toshiba etc. You can use this spectrophotometer with the newer models (with Fiery option) such as Konica Minolta Bizhub C6000/C7000/C8000, C224, C284, C364, C454, C554, C664, C754 etc. All versions of Command Workstation (that are used to calibrate the controllers) support ES-1000. Usually copiers/printers should be calibrated every 1-3 weeks depending on the volume of printing: as the drums and developers get older, the color deviates and you could be getting a cyan, magenta or yellow hues on the prints. Calibrating the Fiery will return the colors to their normal balance (assuming that your machine is working properly) and takes only about 5 minutes. ES-1000 also allows you to calibrate the monitors. Included items are: ES-1000, matched calibration cradle, calibration table, positioning guide, monitor adapter, storage case and USB cable.
