From an estate are two vintage books for the collector. The first is "Electronics Laboratory Manual" by Ralph R Wright and published by McGraw Hill Book Company 1945. The copyright page shows this is a first edition and it is 77 pages. The table of contents shows 12 divisions: Static characteristics of diodes//static characteristics of a triode//static characteristics of tetrodes, pentodes, and beam-powered tubes//voltage amplifiers//gas diodes//gas triodes and applications//cathode-ray oscillograph//power-supply systems//audio-frequency voltage amplifiers//audio frequency power amplifiers//power rectification and inversion//phototubes and photocells. The Lefax data sheets are in a six ring binder with a-z tabs. The dates range from 1910's to the 1930's. A sampling of the sheets give categories such as: Horsepower required to compress air//bus bar data//areas and circumfrences of circles//feeds and cutting speeds of drills//standard gauges//installation of induction motors//physical and chemical constants of lubricating and cutting oils///plus too many others to list!
