This is for a new enclosed magnetic motor starter with disconnect designed to start, stop and protect machines. Designed with momentary type switches and pre-wired latch that breaks circuit during overload or loss of main power. Also includes NEMA 4X rotary motor disconnect. This assembly is configured to meet the requirements of NEC for pump motors. Disconnect can be locked out and tagged out. Pre-wired for easy installation. This starter includes a combination start/stop/LED indicator switch, industrial grade and steel bezel. Modular design allows for additional contact blocks to be added. Comes with 1 NO and 1 NC contacts. Included: -Motor Starter 23-32 Amp with size 40 contactor -Rotary disconnect switch, sized based on load (will be 40/60/80/100) -Start/stop/indicator switch -Pre-wired, you only provide line and load - everything else is already there. -Completely assembled in NEMA 4X Polycarbonate enclosure with hinged door. If your pump application using a pressure switch or other external control, you will need a different type of switch. Please call. The unit will arrive completely assembled in a real nice Nema 4X hinged door enclosure. Mounting feet are now included and shipped loose with assembly. Mounting feet allow for installation without effecting water proof integrity. Our motor starters use UL certified IEC type components. Our disconnects are UL approved and rated appropriately for each assembly. IEC type motor starters are made up of primarily two parts. A contactor and overload device. Both devices have maximum ratings and the overload has maximum and minimum ratings. You should choose a motor starter that fits both criteria. MAX Ratings of contactor used in this starter, do not exceed ratings: Size 40 1 phase- 7.5 HP @ 240 VAC Max FLA 40 Amps 3 phase- 15 HP @ 200 VAC Max FLA 48 Amps 3 phase- 20 HP @ 240 VAC Max FLA 54 Amps 3 phase- 30 HP @ 460 VAC Max FLA 34 Amps 3 phase- 30 HP @ 600 VAC Max FLA 27 Amps Control voltage is 240 VAC and is pre-wired. (Note: the power source for the control wiring of this starter is pre-wired and sourced from your feeder wiring directly on the line side of the starter. You will not need to pull in a separate power source for the controls). The control voltage is the voltage used to activate the coil of the contactor. In the simplest install you will want a coil voltage the same as your power supply. But is some cases you might want the control voltage to be different for a host of reasons. All components used in our assemblies are UL Certified. The overload will have an adjustable Amperage range. Your overload choice is based on your machines FLA. If your machine motor has a FLA of 10 Amps at your supply voltage then you should choose the overload where 10 Amp falls within the adjustable range. For a 10 Amp FLA we would recommend overload 9 - 13 Amps. Our overloads can be set for manual or automatic reset operation. The overload control is pre-wired by Elimia in a way that trips the starter. This is done to protect your equipment and is one of the main purposes of a motor starter.
