ESE ES-103U GPS Satellite Master Clock Receiver Used, Very Good Condition Photos show the actual item for sale Note: These clocks are configured by means of a small control application that runs under Windows (64 Bit etc not tested) and which communicates via a serial or USB cable (not included). So please only purchase this if you have a PC with a USB/serial port and cable which you can use to set up the date, timezone offset, cable length etc. You will therefore most likely need to run the config application when you first power up the unit before it will show the correct time. If required I can send the buyer the control application via email. For a permanent installation an external antenna is recommended and I have some related hardware also listed on eBay. A custom cable of the appropriate length to connect the external antenna to the receiver can easily be ordered on line (usually TNC Male and N Male connectors). No warranty offered on any internal battery which have finite life. Description The ES-103U is a very accurate GPS Master Clock/Time Code Generator. The unit receives time and date information from Global Positioning System satellites and supplies this data to the user in the form of four (4) different types of time code ... IRIG-B, ASCII (RS-232C & USB), ESE-TC89™ and ESE-TC90™. More details may be obtained from the User Manual. Nine amber LED displays (.56") provide a digital display of the Day of Year, Hours, Minutes and Seconds data. Two (2) One Pulse Per Second outputs and a GPS "Lock" output are also standard features. A twelve-channel receiver is employed that is capable of tracking up to twelve satellites simultaneously, although reception of only one is required for time data to be output.
