Stamped on top of this oiler is "Essex Brass Corp Detroit Mich USA".   The overall length is 12".  The large glass is 5" tall x 4-1/4" diameter. This is considered a #7 oiler.  The mounting bolt is 5/8" s.a.e. dia The bottom brass fitting is for a copper tube.  It is all glass.  There is no damage on the brass or the glass.  The sight glass may not be original.  The oil filler hole plug is missing. The drip rate screw turns nicely. This oiler was probably used on a gas engine, machinery or early car. This is a nice oiler and needs to be put back to work!!
