Made in Switzerland, this vintage rare 1960s seafoam Hermes 3000 portable mid-century typewriter is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition. Serial number 33616164.  Included: original functioning metal case (lock and handle in great condition) and Hermes brush, original Hermes manual and typewriter cleaner No. 575. These art deco designed typewriters are known for their precision engineering. It was designed for office use, with many features common to office machines but seldom found in portables. It is compact, light weight and extremely reliable. The Hermes 3000 is regarded by many to be the finest portable typewriter in the world, and most sought after manual typewriters. Everything works on the typewriter: don't know the age of the ribbon but it still has ink (it has wear but works), keys don't stick, no dents or damage and only a few minor scratches.There's wear on the space bar, please review pictures. Everything is "as found", no maintenance or service has been done, just a quick light clean. This typewriter was designed by Paillard S.Q., a company from Yverdon, Switzerland. Larry McMurty, well know screen play writer and author of "Brokeback Mountain" used the Hermes 3000. This is an amazing find! Please review all the pics. You will not be disappointed! FREE!
