EZiCAT 100 Cable Avoidance Tool Automatic hand held cable avoidance tool with a wealth of unique features making the location of buried services easier than ever before. The EZiCAT 100 is designed to help avoid damage to underground services during excavation. This locator with its automatic pinpointing function is very easy to operate. Active signal tracing is available by using the EZiTRACE signal generator. Leica EZiTRACE Signal Generator 8 & 33kHz Signal Generator used to accurately trace underground services which do not have a naturally occurring signal present. Designed in conjunction with the EZiCAT to easily and accurately trace the route of, or locate, an underground cable or metal pipe that does not carry a naturally present signal. The EZiTRACE generates a specific 'active' signal, which can then be traced using the EZiCAT. Features: Always switches on in POWER mode for maximum safety, locating the most potentially dangerous service type first. Starts with maximum sensitivity for safe operation. Automatic pinpointing for quick and accurate location of the service, without any adjustment by the operator.
