This is a precision rotating spindle micrometer stop. It has a hardened face on the end of the spindle. The picture makes it look bent but it is not.

here we have a lot of 2 used starrett dial indicators, the large one has a 2'' face a bit scratched from age about a quarter inch of travel looks/feels like it works fine has a mount loop on the back goes 0 to 25 in 2 directions , the smaller one is 1.375 inch face goes from 0 to 100 plunger on back looks feels good to me , both are used and i would guess need to be cleaned lubed dont know how that works have been in storage for many yearsand free shipping too
