This Collimator is designed to accept SMA type fiber connectors and collimate a 543 nm beam exiting a single-mode fiber to a 2.0 mm beam. Conversely, a laser beam can be launched into the assembly to focus the beam into a connected fiber. High quality, broadband AR coated, glass aspheric lenses are used for low insertion loss and beam sizes only limited by diffraction. Applications include laser beam delivery systems, as well as coupling the output of a fiber into a detector. Applications of pairs of collimators include beam expansion systems for lab applications, as well as fiber-to-fiber coupling in compact components. An optional Spectra Physics FC connector is available for a additional $15. This collimator workswith most all of J series and T series Laser Heads.
