An Engel suction/vacuum pump with serial number 176913 and an adjusting dial for varying the amount of vacuum pressure being exerted by the pump. This pump has a very nice, low pressure vacuum gauge giving accurate readings down to 1 mBarr and built into the unit as shown in the pics provided. As demonstrated by photos, the vacuum pressure can be varied with the lowest exertable pressure being approximately 400 mbar or -700 mmHg.

This is a pre-owned Bio-RAD Hydrotech vacuum pump, in a good working condition. The Hydrotech vacuum pump is perfect for electrophoresis gel drying and for many other applications requiring a continuous vacuum of greater than 29 inches of mercury (23.4Torr).
