For auction is a Fowler 1-2" Digitrix II Micrometer in excellent condition in case with spare batteries.   This item is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.  Some minor marks around battery covering on back. This was previously used by Iomega R&D. Has been in storage since last NIST calibration.  After round of 2003 layoffs, this was put in storage.  At the time Iomega was acquired by Lenovo, we cleared out all equipment.  I purchased this at an employee auction.  All Digitrix II Micrometers have the same features:  - An integral microprocessor offers a wide variety of user aids, including absolute and relative datums and a tolerance limit mode for using the micrometer as a GO / No Go gage.  -- Large LCD reads to .0001” (.001mm) with a .00005” indicator -- True inch / metric conversion.  -- Output allows connection to the Printer / Calculator, data-logger and interfaces.  -- “Hold” maintains value in display.  -- Absolute / relative modes allow measurements of the true size or comparison measurement of part to master.  -- Self-contained power of 3,000 to 5,000 hours. Uses two batteries (SR44G13). Auto-off after 5 minutes of non-use.  -- Price includes a fitted case, carbide tipped anvils, satin chrome finish, ratchet thimble, locking knob, batteries and a spare set of batteries.
