Although they're basically just custom sized MERV 8 furnace filters, these filter panels are sold as prefilters for several models of AirClean ductless hoods. Sirchie resells AirClean hoods as parts of many of their systems as well. We purchased them for our AirClean PCR hoods at work and ordered the wrong size by accident, and it was apparently not possible to negotiate a return. It's time to get them out of our storage and into the hands of someone who can use them. As ACFPRE-4 filters, these retail new for $15-$20 each. You may need several panels to replace all the filters in your hood. Check your hood dimensions & literature to be sure these will fit. They should fit these hood models, and possibly others: AC 648TA, AC648TAS, AC648TMIC AC720C, AC720CT AC215UF As ordinary MERV 8 pleated furnace filters, you could get these for $5 or $6. They are nominally sized 11x17x1", but actually measure 11x17x¾". MERV 8 means they are 70% efficient at 3μm. Read this to save on shipping! eBay's multiple item cost calculator is not good at calculating combined shipping for multiple light items without hugely overestimating. If you think your actual shipping might be less, please request an invoice at checkout and I will calculate actual shipping in case it is less. The Fine Print Shipping and Handling: I normally charge actual shipping by carrier of your choice. Shipping is never truly free, I hope you appreciate transparency. I will include tracking where possible, and insurance where it is wise (generally over $20), at no additional cost. Contact me before checking out if the service you prefer is not listed. For international bidders especially, there are usually economical options that eBay does not provide space to list. I can write you an invoice that accurately reflects how you want your item sent, and then you can pay it. Customs forms for international shipments will be filled out truthfully. Please do not ask for anything else. Shipping charges in the listing are estimates. If they are high (by more than 75 cents), I will refund any excess by PayPal at the time I ship your item. If they are low I'll eat the difference. Usually they're right on. I'm happy to combine shipments if you purchase multiple items. I will pack all of your items together and charge once for shipping and handling as if it were a single item. eBay will try to combine the charges at checkout but will normally come up with a number that is too high. Ask me to invoice you before paying, or pay what it says and let me refund the difference at shipment. If you're lucky enough to live in Boston, I'm also happy to have you come pick items up from me. There would be no shipping or handling charges in that case. Payment: I only take PayPal, or cash on pickup. eBay requires this policy. Returns: Return in 14 days for a refund (excluding shipping) if item is not as advertised. "Not as advertised" does not include "doesn't work with my setup". I try to provide information and support as best I can, but I cannot guarantee that anything I sell is compatible with anything that you have, only that the item itself is in working or usable condition. "Not as advertised" also doesn't normally include "I didn't read/understand that part of the listing", but if you realize that you've bought something that you don't actually want before it ships, we can usually work that out. Return shipping is buyer's responsibility. Feedback: I normally wait for your feedback before I leave mine. This is not ransom. It's just typically the easiest way for me to tell that you received the item. You either get the item, and are happy with it, or you aren't, and I get a chance to fix the problem for you, and however it works out, we get to rate each other on the whole transaction.
