It enables the user to avoid the risk of radiation exposure; while measuring radiation you can use your smartphone/tablet functionally; the user can choose the most handy form of dosimetric data representation; dosimetric data can be stored in a database on the smartphone/tablet with the possibility to further view it within a certain period of time; wide operating temperature range – from -18 °? to +50 °? Measurement results are continuously transferred from Gamma Sapiens to GS Ecotest via Bluetooth. When measuring radiation you are free to use all the other functions of your smartphone such as making and receiving calls, sending and receiving messages and using other applications. Use Gamma Sapiens and GS Ecotest to control the radiation level around you and to monitor accumulated dose in your body! GS Ecotest provides: information about the radiation level and accumulated dose which is transferred from Gamma Sapiens detector to the smartphone/tablet via Bluetooth in real time; display of collected dosimetric information in one of 4 different graphic representations; representation of collected data on a map with GPS coordinates; setting up one or more dose and dose rate threshold levels. When the threshold level is exceeded, light, audio, and vibration alarms will be actuated; data storage in a relational database; view of stored dosimetric information in a database within a certain period of time; operation of the detector from the smartphone or tablet; use of the smartphone or tablet functions – making and receiving calls, sending and receiving messages, starting and using other applications, etc., without interrupting the process of measurement and loss of data. GS Ecotest App can also work with other ECOTEST TM dosimeters: MKS-05 “TERRA” and RKS-01 “STORA-TU”. The devices released before December 2011 may require an update to the firmware of the processor’s program for correct work with the application. The update is done by the manufacturer upon request.
