Up for your consideration are Qty 2 Vintage Hi Current Hi Voltage used Phase Control Power Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCR), also known as Thyristors.  These have been tested to ensure the gate triggering function is working.  These SCR’s are known to be used in a Motorola S1303A Power Supply (0 to 18 V, 0 to 40 A) circa 1975.  (See pictures).  Considering this known application and the minimum specs per the references below, this application represents a very conservative application.
