 Offered today is a radioactive source - high quality thorium lantern mantle suitable for geiger counter testing.  Each mantle package I have produces  between 3000 and 3800 CPM.  All measurements were taken using a geiger meter with SBM20 tube with no shield on the surface of the package. Your CPM reading may be slightly higher or lower depending on the sensitivity of your Geiger counter and the distance from the mantle. Each package contains ONE (1), mantle. This mantle is brand new. This  mantle was impregnated with Thorium (Thoriated). The diameter of the mantle is about 9cm. or 3.54in. We use mail with tracking number. Estimated Delivery Time: 12/25 business days.
