  GENERAL RADIO TYPE 723 1000Hz VACUUM TUBE FORK OSCILLATOR The GR Type 723 Vacuum Tube Fork appeared as late as 1951 in the GR Catalog M (listed at $165 in the 1951 catalog, equal to $1450 in 2015 inflated $) having been offered for many years. This one is in good condition and is running. There are two tubes in the unit, a 1A5-GT and an OC3 Voltage Regulator. The specs from the GR catalog lists the frequency as being stable to +_ .05%. Not bad for a fork oscillator. Output impedances are 50, 500 and 5000 ohms. It measures approximately 11" wide, 6" deep and 7" high and weighs 10 pounds. It runs on 115VAC. It is an interesting bit of frequency standard history. Please view the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
