Geoelectronics Converts Your Function Generator To Geiger Counter Calibrator

 GEOelectronics built. Convert YOUR square wave Function Generator to a quality Geiger Counter Calibrator unit. Otherwise known as a Pulser or CPM Calibrator. This type of instrument is a temporary substitute for the probe on a Geiger Counter, giving the correct polarity and waveshape in a known CPM to calibrate the Geiger Counter by way of it's calibration potentiometers. Some Geiger Counters like the CDV-700 have only one calibration potentiometer, we offer an economical version of this same circuit for those. See Ludlum Measurements Support page for manual on the Ludlum Model 500 to learn how to use a pulser. The output CPM is simply the input Hz X 60. The actual level is set by the level control on your Function Generator, or set it to 5 Volts and use the precision 10 turn Level control on this instrument. Output to Geiger Counter is via a quality Amphenol BNC connector, while the input from your Function Generator is via banana jacks. Other input and output connectors are available.
