(pack of 2 lamps) Quartz Germicidal Lamps are low pressure lamps that generate most of the energy at 254nm (253,7nm - Mercury line) and some energy at 185nm. In medical terminology they are known as UV-C lamps. The mechanical structure of a germicidal lamps is the same as for a Miniature Cold Cathode Florescent Lamp but instead glass the envelope is manufactured with quartz. At these wavelength the most bacteria, spores and viruses are complete destroyed. Please note that we sell the low & high voltage wires and inverters separately. Using our inverter designed for several tens of kilohertz, the light emission efficiency is increased by at least 20% over a regular power supply at 50Hz or 60Hz. The electrical discharge is stable, without fluctuation. • The design of the inverter is very small, light weight and generates a very little heat. Precaution: • ATTN: ELECTRIC SHOCK. The inverter generates over 350V. While the lamp is working, do not touch the leads. Please take all measures in accordance to all applicable codes and safety practice.
